Yes is a successful English rock band formed in 1968 by Chris Squire and Jon Anderson. They’ve gone through a few reincarnations of lineups and even styles over the years. While in the 70s they were enormously popular for their progressive rock productions, they began to fall out of popularity heading into the 80s as punk rock became more popular. The band split up in 1981 and two members formed the band Asia. But a new group reformed the next year, getting into pop rock. They’ve released 21 albums all time, most recently Heaven & Earth (2014) which is being featured on their current tour. Lead vocalist Anderson has not been with the band since they got back together again in 2008, but he’d like to come back. Fans and the members themselves are hoping induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame can unite the original and current members of the band’s lineup. Induction in 2015 remains a possibility.
