Wake Forest Demon Deacons Basketball

After a strong decade of success in the 2000’s, Wake Forest basketball has struggled of late. The Demon Deacons have not made the NCAA tournament since 2010 and that streak continued into the 2013-2014 season. A new era of Wake Forest basketball is set to begin, however. Former Kansas standout Danny Manning was hired in April to be the next head coach. Manning served as an assistant under Bill Self at Kansas and most recently was the head coach at Tulsa. Make sure to keep an eye on the Demon Deacons looking ahead to next season with Manning at the helm.

The Wake Forest Demon Deacons operate under Coach Danny Manning at the Joel Coliseum in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The University recently purchased the arena from the city of Winston-Salem, allowing them more flexibility with their own athletics.  They’ve made 22 NCAA Tournament appearances, most recently in 2010, and made the Final Four once, in 1962.  WF has also made eight Sweet Sixteen runs, most recently in 2004.  28 WF players have made it to the NBA, including Al-Farouq Aminu, Tim Duncan, Chris Paul, Josh Howard, Rodney Rogers, Jeff Teague, Muggsy Bogues, and Darius Songalia.  Gold Coast Tickets can get you in to the hottest Wake Forest games of the season!  Don’t miss out on another great season.
