Wake Forest Demon Deacons

2013: (4-8) (2-6 ACC)

The 2013 season marked the last season with Wake Forest for head coach Jim Grobe.  Grobe was let go in favor of former Bowling Green head coach, Dave Clawson.  Clawson will take over a Demon Deacon team that did not do much in 2013.  With no key wins to their name Wake Forest struggled to find their way.  It looks like 2014 will be another rebuilding year for the program but do not count new head coach Dave Clawson and the Deacons out.

The Wake Forest Demon Deacons are based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina at the Wake Forest University. The Demon Deacons are members of the Atlantic Coast Conference. Wake Forest is currently the smallest school to play in a BCS conference with enrollment just above 7,000 students. The Deacons have won two conference titles since their first season in 1888 and last appeared in a bowl game in 2006.  BB&T Field has been the home of the Deacons since 1968.  Even after a renovation in 2007 it remains the smallest stadium in both the ACC and all BCS Automatic Qualifying Conferences.  Wake Forest is a part of the “Tobacco Road” and competes with rival North Carolina schools, Duke, North Carolina, and North Carolina State.  Come see the Demon Deacons on their quest for a bowl—Gold Coast Tickets has you covered!
