Oregon Ducks Basketball

The Oregon Ducks are getting ready to tip off their 2012-2013 college basketball season. Last season was the Ducks best since 2008. They finished second in the Pac-12 with a 24-10 overall record. The Ducks are coming back with a vengeance this season and Gold Coast Tickets does not want you to miss out on the action as the Ducks try and make it back to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since the 2008 season.
They have the talent to do it as they return second leading scorer and leading rebounder E.J. Singler, no relation to the great Duke Blue Devil, Kyle Singler. In addition to Singler tearing up the Ducks frontcourt, Oregon boasts an impressive three recruits off of the Rivals Top 150 Board. Dominic Artis, Ben Carter, and Langston Morris-Walker will join the Ducks as they make a push for the NCAA Tournament. The Ducks best year came when they made it to the Elite 8 in the 2007 NCAA Tournament. The Team was led by stellar point guard play as Aaron Brooks finished out his senior season before heading to the NBA Draft to be taken by the Phoenix Suns with the 26th pick. The Ducks beat Miami (OH) in the first round, Winthrop in the second, and a very good UNLV team in the Sweet 16.  In the Elite 8 they played a tight game against the Florida Gators, but fell short 85-77. The Ducks will be led by head coach Dan Altman this season at the beautiful Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene, Oregon. The Ducks are known for having some of the most stylish jerseys and sports equipment in the nation as the creator of Nike is a Duck alum.
