2013: 3-9 (0-8 ACC)
It was a tough first year for head Coach Dave Doeren and the Wolfpack. Coming over from Northern Illinois, Doeren was unable to grab a win in the ACC. It was not for lack of effort, however. NC State lost seven games in the fourth quarter and will have to learn how to close out games better if they want to improve in 2014. Doeren has already named his starting quarterback for the 2014 season, Florida transfer Jacoby Brisset. Brisset has impressed greatly in spring practice and looks to have the Wolfpack heading in the right direction. Come check out this rebuilding Wolfpack team in action. National champion Florida State will even be making an appearance in Raleigh this year. Head to Gold Coast Tickets!
The North Carolina State Wolfpack play at Carter-Finley Stadium in Raleigh, North Carolina, not far from campus. They are a member of the Atlantic Division of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and have taken 11 conference titles, participating in 25 bowl games. Carter-Finley has the smallest clearance between the stands and sidelines of any team in the ACC, creating an intimate environment even with a capacity of 60,000. While their only double-digit win season remains 2002, the Wolfpack have made nine bowl appearances since 2000 and have suited up some future NFL stars like San Diego Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers. The upstart Wolfpack have room for improvement, but a major opportunity to mess with the big boys in the ACC. Don’t miss out with Gold Coast Tickets!
