Missouri Tigers

Mizzou put together a solid effort in 2014, reaching the bubble of the NCAA Tournament.  But that’s all they go to, as a 9-9 SEC record had a few losses too many to be taken seriously for national contention despite going 23-12 overall.  Jabari Brown (19.9 PPG) left for the NBA Draft, Jordan Clarkson (17.5 PPG) was drafted by the Lakers, and Earnest Ross (14 PPG) graduated.  No one else averaged even six points per game, and then coach Frank Haith abruptly bolted for Tulsa.  A transfer comes in spring semester and a couple freshmen will debut, but otherwise this team is in serious rebuilding mode.

The Missouri Tigers operate under coach Kim Anderson at Mizzou Arena in Columbia, Missouri.  The Tigers seem to go through periodic phases of success, making the NCAA Tournament every year between 2009 and 2013, but not between 2003 and 2009, but then every year from 1998 through 2003.  Overall they’ve made 26 Tournament appearances, seven Sweet Sixteens (most recently in 2009), and sent 26 players to the NBA including Larry Drew, Linas Kleiza, Anthony Peeler, and Keyon Dooling.  Mizzou looks to start another run of consistent success this season, and Gold Coast Tickets want to help get you in the stands to see it!
