Miami Heat

2013 Record: 66-16 (1st East seed), won NBA Finals over San Antonio

Another year, another championship for the Miami Heat.  And if you believe the Big Three, that’s just the second of “not one…not two…not three…not four…not five…” championships that are to come.  But with Chris Bosh and LeBron James at 28 and Dwyane Wade at 30, the clock is ticking on this potential dynasty.  Rumors about a 2014 LeBron reunion with Cleveland have been swirling, and Wade has been banged up plenty of times.  Mario Chalmers and Udonis Haslem, the ‘other guys’ in the starting lineup, aren’t great players but they don’t need to be.  Key bench pickups over the last few years may have been the difference between the 2011 Finals loss to Dallas and the 2012 and 2013 wins over Oklahoma City and San Antonio.  Shane Battier is a defensive beast and great teammate, Ray Allen is still probably the most clutch three point shooter around, Rashard Lewis provides more veteran depth, and young Norris Cole brings in energy and youth to a team that needs it.  The Heat franchise is really in its own category in the Eastern Conference.  You know that for sure when people start talking about the Knicks as the “best East team after the Heat”.  As they stand now, it will be extremely difficult to knock out the Heat from the playoffs, and the road to the title definitely goes through American Airlines Arena at some point.  It’s a great time to be a Miami Heat fan and you don’t want to miss out on this budding dynasty.  Get your Miami Heat tickets today from Gold Coast Tickets!
