LSU Tigers

Louisiana State football is in a great stretch of football and has been through the Nick Saban and Les Miles eras in Baton Rouge.  Last year saw the Tigers go 10-2 before losing in the Chick-fil-A Bowl.  That came a year after losing the BCS National Championship Game to Alabama.  Zach Mettenberger had his first season as the primary starter last year, throwing for over 2,600 yards in what wasn’t a great passing offense, but good enough considering their effective rushing attack.  Improvement there would be nice, though.  Running back Jeremy Hill (755 yards, 12 touchdowns) should become one of the better backs in the SEC, and LSU employs a rotation anyway.  Top wideouts Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham Jr. are back.  The offensive line is a weakness, and the defensive line has been purged by departures.  Rebuilding the two lines will be key, and some of their 20 four-star recruits will help with that.  The defense was 12th overall last season and should be up there yet again.  LSU has an easy non-conference schedule with four probable wins right away, with a nice gimme against Furman breaking up the rough SEC schedule later in October.  LSU is poised for another great season.

The LSU Tigers are members of the Western Division in one of college football’s most competitive divisions - the SEC.  The Tigers head coach Les Miles has a long tradition with the team as he led them to a BCS National Championship game victory in 2007.  With such success over the last few years it’s no wonder the massive Tiger Stadium, which holds just over 95,000 fans, is always filled to capacity.   The Tigers have sent many players to the NFL throughout the years; however, currently the most notable include: Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe, New York Giants corner back Corey Webster, and New Orleans Saints wide receiver Devery Henderson. This season the Tigers hope to win the conference again as well as get back to the National Championship game.  Gold Coast Tickets does not want you to miss out on the action as the Tigers make their run at the title.  Get your 2013 LSU Tigers football tickets from Gold Coast Tickets today!
