Final Record: 11-5 (entering playoffs)
The Green Bay Packers are a North Division NFC team in the NFL. They are the third oldest franchise in the National Football League. They were founded in 1919, and are the last of the “small town” tradition that was once so common in the NFL. The Packers have won twelve league championships, more than any other team in the NFL.
The Green Bay Packers have a historic rivalry against the Chicago Bears, whom they have played over 170 times. They also have intense rivalries with the Minnesota Vikings and the Dallas Cowboys. The Packers play at Lambeau Field, which was named in 1957 in memory of the Packers’ founder, player, and long-time coach Curly Lambeau. Lambeau Field was the first stadium built for the exclusive use of an NFL team. It is the longest, continually occupied stadium in the NFL.
