The Duke University Blue Devils are set to take on the 2012-2013 college basketball season. Duke had a great regular season, finishing 27-7, and one game back in the ACC to North Carolina. They received a #2 seed in the NCAA Tournament and were matched up with Patriot League winner Lehigh in the first round of the tourney. Duke came out lazy and over-confident and were upset by Lehigh, sending them home early. This year coach Mike Krzyzewski will make sure that is not the case as they look to top the ACC with North Carolina sending so many players to the draft. Coach K is bringing in a solid recruiting class as always, headlining five star recruit Rasheed Sulaimon, the Guard out on Houston, Texas. Sulaimon will look to replace the scoring of Austin Rivers, something that will not be easy. Recently, Duke has been ranked the most prestigious college basketball program in the nation by ESPN, a well deserved acclaim. The Blue Devils won their most recent National Championship in 2010 when they knocked off the Butler Bulldogs.
