Cincinnati Bearcats

The Cincinnati Bearcats are excited to tip off their 2012-2013 college basketball season. The Bearcats are coached by Mick Cronin in his 6th year with the program. Last season went well for the Bearcats as they finished the season with a 26-11 record, and a #6 seed in the NCAA Tournament. Most people ruled the Bearcats out in the preliminary rounds, but they made it to the Sweet 16 to lose to a very good Ohio State team. The Bearcats will return one of the best backcourts in the country this year with Sean Kilpatrick and Cashmere Wright. Kilpatrick led the team in scoring while Wright led the team in assists. Together, the two can be very dangerous come Big East play. The most dominant player in Cincinnati history is Kenyon Martin. In 2000, Martin won the Naismith Player of the Year Award and has went on to have a very solid NBA career with a number of teams, the majority of his success coming with the New Jersey Nets. The Bearcats play their home games at Fifth Third Arena, where they are almost unbeatable. They have a rowdy crowd and the black and red surely comes to play when at home. Cincinnati has a longtime heated rival with cross-state Xavier, and it is one of the most highly anticipated games in the country every year. If you are into tough physical basketball, tune in when Cincinnati plays Xavier. Gold Coast Tickets does not want you to miss out on the action as the Cincinnati Bearcats hold one of the best backcourts in the nation this year.
